Modern cashless parking fee management

The CityNet -FairPark system is the further development of cash-less payment at TicketLine- p&d machines with the possibility to refund the fee for unused park time and it is the logical result of striving for constant improvement of the user friendliness.

The system is based on the buy of tickets on a p&d machine with credit cards.

• Park tickets can be purchased at -TicketLine- p&d machines by means of credit cards
• If a user wants to leave the parking lot before the purchased park duration has expired,the can cancel the park ticket ahead of schedule, if this ticket was paid with card
• For the cancellation of a parking ticket the credit card that has been used for the purchasing must be inserted again into one of the p&d machines in the same parking sector
• The p&d machine sends a cancellation request to the central office. If the ticket was cancelled successfully its expiration is registered, and the p&d machine prints immediately a cancellation receipt
• The remaining parking time will not be charged to his credit card account. In order to avoid abuse of the cancellation option, the system makes a list of active tickets available for the control staff.

Technology

All machines are networked over GPRS with the central office. The CityNet MMS central allows a centralized information administration and data processing. The communication solution between the -TicketLine- p&d machines and the central office can also be used for a real-time status monitoring in combination with the P&D Management System CS.
